Mohan Swaminathan since September 2022 is a Szegö Assistant Professor at the Stanford University mathematics department. His interests are symplectic topology and enumerative geometry. During Fall 2022, he was on leave from Stanford and was a member at MSRI participating in the program on Floer homotopy theory. Previously, he did his PhD at the Princeton University and, before that, he was an undergraduate at the Chennai Mathematical Institute.

Marita Thomas is Professor for Applied Analysis at Freie Universität Berlin since 2022. She is the head of the research group Bulk-Interface Processes at the Weierstrass Institute. Her scientific interest lies in material modeling, damage and fracture mechanics, coupling of optoelectronics with thermomechanics, and variational methods, Gamma-convergence, functions of bounded variation.
Thomas holds a PhD from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
