Lecture hall MA 042 (talks)
The talks of 8th BMS Student Conference will take place at the Institut für Mathematik (Faculty of Mathematics) of the Technische Universität Berlin, which is located at Str. des 17. Juni 136, 10623 Berlin. All talks will take place in lecture hall MA 042: it is located on the first floor (close to the first elevators you reach from the first entrance, turn left at the elevators and you will see the catering for our conference).
BMS Lounge (Wine and Cheese)
The BMS Lounge is where the Wine and Cheese event will take place. It is located at Institut für Mathematik (Faculty of Mathematics) of the Technische Universität Berlin, where it can be found at room MA209 in the second floor. It is located at Str. des 17. Juni 136, 10623 Berlin.

Where to eat?
There are several places to eat near the conference venue. The first three in the list below offer special prices for students. The first two require payment by Mensa card; you can obtain one from the machines in front of the Mensa; for that, you need to pay a deposit of 1,55€, which will be refunded to you if you return your card before leaving Berlin. You will need to present a valid student ID to receive a discount on the Mensa prices. In the following list, the prices pertain to a simple menu excluding drinks. Student prices are used where applicable.

- TU Mensa at Ernst-Reuter-Platz/Architekturgebäude (4–5€; Mensa card only)
- TU Skyline Cafe (4–5,50€; payment by cash and Mensa card)
- TU Math Canteen (in German; 2.50–4,50€; cash only), 9th floor of the building
- TU Math Cafeteria (2.70–5€; cash only), ground floor of the building
- Café Nero (4–7€; cash only), Volkswagenbibliothek, Fasanenstraße 88

How to get there?
In order to get to these venues, one can use public transportation. There are several options available:
- U-Bahn line U2, at the stop U Ernst-Reuter Platz, plus approximately 5 minutes of walking.
- Buses M45, X9 and 245, at the stop U Ernst-Reuter Platz or Marchstraße, plus approximately between 5 and 10 minutes of walking.
- S-Bahn lines S3, S5 and S7, at the stop S Tiergarten, plus approximately 10 minutes of walking.
- U-Bahn line U9, at the stop S/U Zoologischer Garten, plus approximately 20 minutes of walking.
Please keep in mind that, due to construction work, there is no train service on the U2 between U Zoologischer Garten and U Gleisdreieck. Please check the available alternatives online if you plan to use the U2 to reach TU Berlin.
